Design Institute offers one degree in one major: a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.

For over 30 years, Design Institute of San Diego (DISD) has educated students in the fine art of interior design. With a single focus on one BFA program in interior design, DISD fosters a creative learning environment for students that boasts modern facilities and a knowledgeable, professional staff and a faculty who practices what they teach. The BFA program offers flexible day and evening scheduling and is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).

Location: DISD is located in San Diego, California, near the Pacific beaches of La Jolla at 8555 Commerce Avenue.

Admissions: Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or an equivalent (GED). Training or experience in art and design is not required.

Financial Aid: DISD participates in a variety of federal and state financial aid programs and can help assist students in determining their eligibility for loans and grants.

Accreditation: The Design Institute of San Diego is a senior college accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree. The Interior Design Program leading to a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree is a professional level program accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) - formerly FIDER.
